Öktem Aykut

Öktem Aykut is founded by Doğa Öktem and Tankut Aykut in 2014 in Istanbul, after a first short spell as Gallery Tankut Aykut. The gallery has organized over 70 exhibitions in two different gallery locations and extra spaces and participated in many notable international art fairs. The prolific exhibition-making practice and the remaining inclusive approach towards the divergent Istanbul art communities made Öktem Aykut the leading young independent contemporary art gallery in Turkey.
